Mercy Center A Club Priority
We continue to provide weekly support to the Mercy Center Food Pantry, with Kiwanis members and volunteers on hand every Tuesday from 4–6 PM and Saturday mornings from 9:30–11:30 AM. We’re proud to lend a hand each week to support this important community resource.

Nothing Like Summer Fun!
Back by popular demand, Play on Pine, hosted by Second Life Bikes, is held Fridays from 5–7 PM through September 4th (weather permitting) on Pine Street between 2nd and 3rd. Kiwanis AP provides snacks, drinks and books to all!
Now in its third year, the Kiwanis AP Beach Toy Borrow Box on 2nd Ave gives kids a fun way to share beach toys while reducing waste along AP's shoreline. Toys can be borrowed for the day and returned for the next child.
Getting Dunked for Backpacks
The Club was proud to support Community Karma’s annual Dunk Tank fundraiser at Georgies, helping raise funds for the Asbury Park Backpack Drive. This fun community event makes a meaningful difference, helping provide local children with backpacks and school supplies they need to start the school year ready to learn and succeed.

Kiwanis Club Quick Hits
More than 40 local children and family members enjoyed a free showing of Toy Story this summer, thanks to the Kiwanis Club of AP and The ShowRoom on Cookman Avenue. Every child was welcomed with a complimentary goodie bag!
Congratulations to this year’s Kiwanis Scholarship winners Withney Norde, Jayvon Daniels, and Lizbeth Villa Hernandez along with all the other honorees at Awards Night. Thanks to the teachers, counselors, and staff of the school district and best of luck to these talented young men and women!
